The Murle Education Foundation Inc. is an Australian-based not-for-profit established for the purpose of bringing education, to children of the Murle tribe living as refugees in Africa.

As there are no adequate facilities in the refugee camp for teaching the children, a number have been selected by MEF and sent to school in Kenya. They are provided with school uniforms, shoes, and all necessary books and school requirements, as well as having all fees paid for their board and tuition. Transport is provided from the camp to the school and back to their families during term holidays.

Although beginning with small numbers, students at primary and secondary school level, as well as college, are being sponsored. At college level MEF will only support young men and women who will enrol in courses that will directly benefit their communities, such as teaching, medicine, nursing, agricultural science and trades.
